UV400 means that the sunglasses block 99–100% of all UVA and UVB rays – the most harmful types of ultraviolet radiation from the sun.
It is the highest standard of sunglass protection and ensures that your eyes are fully protected in sunlight.
Are Celaren sunglasses polarized?
Our first collection is not polarized, but all models have UV400 certified lenses.
Polarized lenses remove reflections from water and snow – and this could become part of a future collection.
Are the sunglasses CE marked?
Yes, all of our sunglasses are CE marked and meet European standards for sunglass protection and quality.
